Renascer inspired the founding of other organizations that follow the same methodology creating The Child Health Network, a cooperative system developed by autonomous associations that comprise the Network. The all share the same objective: provide assistance to very poor children with chronic or acute illness who have been directed to the organizations by the Public Health System. They are patients under treatment or who have been released from the hospital.
Including Renascer, there are 23 associations throughout Brazil, all of them connected with hospitals in the Public Network.
"We wish that more Associations are created, multiplying our work and widening the social impact of the activities" - says Claudia Balbuena - Coordinator of Saúde Criança Network. To this day we count 23 institutions, including Renascer.
